Angela Orlov is the Creative Director of ORLOV and Christian Orlov its CEO. Monaco is where the house was founded, where it is headquartered, and where it still receives clients privately today.
ORLOV was built on a partnership. Angela Orlov brings the design: bold, sensual, sculptural jewels that begin as her sketches. Her background includes Sotheby's and Christie's.
Christian Orlov brings the precious gemstones. Before co-founding ORLOV he built an international gem and diamond trading business. The result, in the house's own words, is an alchemy between Angela's precious poetry and Christian Orlov's knowledge of stones.
Monte Carlo is small, theatrical and exact. It puts natural drama — the rock, the sea, the light — next to absolute polish. ORLOV's jewelry carries the same contrast: confident volumes, sharp geometry, and precious gemstones large enough to be seen across a room.
The house's emblem reflects it. The crocodile, discovered by Angela Orlov in Ernest Barrias's sculpture Les Nubiens, combines raw strength with refined surface — the essence of the Principality.

ORLOV's headquarters and private showroom are in Monaco, where clients are received by appointment. In Monte Carlo, the house is also presented by its partner ARIJE on Place du Casino.
Monte Carlo is where ORLOV shows its most important work. In the summer of 2014, its exhibition A Precious Dream at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo unveiled an openwork bracelet of Burmese rubies and fancy-cut diamonds around a 12-carat oval ruby, valued at €4 million. In July 2017, the house presented its rubies, sapphires and emeralds in a summer exhibition at the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo. ORLOV jewels have also been worn in Monaco by Katy Perry, Alessandra Ambrosio and Lais Ribeiro at the FPA2 Ocean Gala, and by Rita Ora at Le Sporting.
From Monaco, ORLOV has grown along the routes its clients travel: Paris, Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Courchevel 1850 with its partners ARIJE and DOUX, and Dubai, where the house opened its private showroom in D3, Dubai's Design District, in April 2023, and its first boutique in the Middle East at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in March 2025.
ORLOV works only with natural diamonds and natural precious gemstones: fine Colombian emeralds, Burmese rubies and sapphires, Paraíba tourmalines from Brazil and Mozambique, unique opals from Australia and exceptional South Sea pearls. Fine Colombian emeralds sit at the heart of the house. Every piece is handcrafted in Valenza and accompanied by its ORLOV certificate of authenticity.
